The reason we need sponsors
We have talked to many individuals, young and old that need Social Cognition classes to succeed in different aspects of life (personal, school, work, social).
Social skills play a very important role in a person's emotional health and well being.
Social skills are needed to learn, ask for help appropriately, get needs met, work well with others, make friends, develop healthy relationships, protect yourself, and be able to get along well with others.
Our classes can help with these skills.
Our students are from every walk of life and can be between the ages 5 to 18 and adults.
We try to keep the cost of tuition as low as we can.
We do offer a sliding scale but for some even the sliding scale amount is too high.
We would like to help those who cannot afford a class like ours.
Your gift would allow this to happen.
An example would be an adult student that is receiving social security or working for minimum wage.
They need better social skills to maintain or get a higher paying job.
Another example would be a parent who is unemployed and need the gift for their child to attend.
